Cristina is a Ph.D. student in the Leadership Studies Department at the University of San Diego. She earned her M.A. in Politics, Economics and Business at Claremont Graduate University. Cristina also currently teaches undergraduate Leadership Studies courses at USD. Her research focus is on leadership development for emerging adults, particularly in underserved, minority communities. Last summer she had the opportunity to travel to Belfast, Northern Ireland to research K-12 education in post-conflict environments. Next year, she plans to travel to South Africa to study K-12 education in segregated environments. Cristina is an avid reader, enjoys writing and traveling and volunteering in the community.
